Owned, managed and operated by Ignazio Maniscalco and Vincenzo Papa, together they
are thrilled to introduce Sapori (literally taste) Restaurant to Blackpool as a stylish and contemporary Italian restaurant.

Ignazio Maniscalco


With over 30 years of experience working and managing Italian restaurants, Ignazio is an enthusiastic, imaginative, and experienced restauranteur with a fine palate. He is serious about sourcing and serving authentic Italian food and wines.

Alongside his great team of staff, he aims to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with great food and wine to compliment it.

Executive Chef and co-owner Vincenzo Papa offers fresh irresistible Italian cuisine, blending traditional flavors to create modern dishes. Vincenzo, originally from a small town outside Naples, began his culinary training at a very early age.

Vincenzo sharpened his skills by working for the past 30 years in some of the Fylde Coasts’ most popular Italian restaurants. Co-owner Ignazio comments ” It’s a real pleasure to work alongside Vincenzo. His passion for food and flavour is reflected in our restaurant’s amazing menu and has proven that he knows what it takes to produce a flawless fine dining experience.
